As we slip into the 2026 summer reading season, I would like to give you a warm welcome to my novels. I’m also happy to report that if you’re craving a beach read, my newest romantic suspense releases – Desperate Whispers, Hideaway Book 1, and Silent Screams, Hideaway Book 2 – are set on a tropical island. With ocean waves, sea breezes, and dolphin sightings, these novels will provide the perfect atmosphere for summertime reading.
For those who are new to the Black Raven series, thank you for giving my novels a try. The series includes seven novels and I’m currently working on an eighth. Aside from Desperate Whispers and Silent Screams, the Black Raven novels are standalone stories that can be read in any order. However, to read the novels in the order in which they were written, that order is:

I’m often asked which novel would be the best entry point into the series. For various reasons, I usually point readers to either Deceived or Desperate Whispers. If you haven’t read any of the Black Raven novels and want to jump straight into Desperate Whispers and Silent Screams, please do. After, if you’re curious about Brandon Morrissey and Sebastian Connelly, who you’ll meet within the pages of these novels, go back in the series to read their stories. Deceived, which is set in my hometown of New Orleans, is Brandon Morrissey’s story and it introduces the security company that is involved in each novel – Black Raven Private Security Contractors. Shadows is the story of Sebastian Connelly, the founder of Black Raven. All my novels are available at Amazon in print and eBook. Also, the books are “free” with a kindle unlimited subscription.
