Since Deceived was published, one of my favorite parts of being an author has been meeting with book clubs. I’ve joined clubs over coffee, over wine at happy hour, around the dinner table, and once in a cozy room at a bookstore, with the store’s cat sitting next to me.
Recently, I spoke to a large book club in a more formal format, with a podium and a microphone, covering topics such as defining the romantic suspense genre, why I created Black Raven Private Security Contractors, how I went from teacher to lawyer to independent novelist, what being an independent novelist actually means, and the importance of reading.
My early book club visits are what prompted me to write discussion questions for every novel. Now I’ve gathered them, and more, into a free Book Club Discussion Kit. For each novel, the kit includes:
- a note on where the story came from
- reviews
- back cover copy
- discussion questions
It also explains how to invite me to join your club’s discussion by video, free of charge.
How To Get The Kit
- New to my newsletter? Click Here To Subscribe, and I’ll send you the kit.
- Already a subscriber? Email me at [email protected] from the address you subscribed with, and I’ll send it your way.
Whether you’re reading with a club or on your own, I hope the kit makes the experience even richer.
Happy reading,
Stella
